#10 – Honor 7C
Price: 10,333 rubles
Our rating of smartphones with the best sound opens with the budget model Honor 7C. It plays melodies through the classic Huawei audio player, which has good functionality. For example, there is a set of Histen audio effects, the ability to enable 3D sound and a set of presets for different types of headphones. All this is complemented by a ten-band equalizer.
An inexpensive but good smartphone will appeal to audiophiles, both when using a headset and when playing audio through speakers. If your plans include watching movies, then the Honor 7C will not disappoint you - the image in it is displayed on a 5.7-inch display with a resolution of 1440 by 720 pixels. Its matrix is well calibrated - yes, it has problems with color saturation and brightness, but considering the cost of the model, these shortcomings are not at all upsetting.

Ringtones
If you do not have one of the models described above, you can find the loudest ringtones for your phone. There are tons of them on the Internet. Moreover, they are very different here - for all occasions.
Of course, many users believe that this option will help them make calls louder and stop missing incoming calls. In fact, it looks more like self-deception. After all, if the phone speaker can produce a certain volume, then you won’t get more from it.
The essence of the loudest ringtones is that they are recorded using a special technology. They can use louder instruments, as well as special combinations of notes, so that the melody “screams” as a result.
Some modern tracks can be made louder using hardware. But such methods usually degrade the sound quality. The ringtone becomes “dirty” and too noisy.
No. 9 – AGM A9
Price: 14,900 rubles
The armored AGM A9 is one of the best solutions in terms of price and quality ratio for a user looking for a smartphone with good sound. The model has as many as 4 speakers. All of them were developed by JBL, which occupies a leading position in the market of Bluetooth speakers, headphones and other audio equipment. AGM A9 shows that this is no accident. The sound in the gadget is very loud and also clear. The upper and mid frequencies are well developed, and the bass is felt, which is rare in smartphones.
The maximum sound volume is 103 dB. For comparison, in the iPhone 7 this figure is 89 dB, and in the G8 it is 91 dB. Therefore, we can safely say that with its sound, the model rubs the nose of the market flagships. When playing audio through a headset that is connected using a USB Type-C connector via a 3.5 mm adapter (included), the balance is shifted to the middle, but this is not critical.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite
Price : 24,990 rub.
Can I recommend the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Lite for purchase? Definitely! In any case, that’s what users say. What advantages did they identify for themselves in working with this smartphone? The main feature of the entire Note is the stylus. It has great functionality and is convenient to use. For example, you can translate a word by simply pointing the stylus at it.
The smartphone will delight you with fast operation, an unparalleled camera, and a powerful battery. If you wish, after purchase you can immediately expand the built-in memory with an SD card, and you have 2 SIM card slots available for work. Thanks to the presence of powerful cameras with many interesting features, you can take memorable, vivid pictures that will be a pleasure to review. The sound in the device will please you with volume and clarity of sound.

No. 7 – Meizu 15
Price: 23,990 rubles
The seventh place in our rating of smartphones with good sound goes to Meizu 15. Especially for music lovers, the model has in its arsenal a separate amplifier CS35L35, which improves the performance of stereo speakers. Even despite the lack of a separate DAC, the sound of the gadget is really at a high level - there are no wheezes or crackles when playing any audio files. If something doesn’t suit you, you can always use the preset 10-band equalizer.
Another advantage of the model is the 5.46-inch display with a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels. It is made using AMOLED technology, and therefore the image will remain bright and saturated even when the device is rotated - thanks to the maximum viewing angles. If we talk about the disadvantages, then these include the price of the gadget, which is too high, as well as the lack of an NFC module.

OLMIO C17 – good price/quality ratio
There is nothing superfluous in this phone, and it has almost everything that is required for an older person.
Moreover, it was initially positioned as a phone for the elderly, and not just a universal dialer with mechanical buttons. The phone has the ability to configure shortcut buttons. Separately, it is worth noting the presence of an emergency SOS button. This button can be configured individually; by default, when it is pressed, the siren turns on, an SMS is sent to relatives, and emergency services are called (or a call to relatives, this is configurable).
And there are two additional interesting buttons: one for a super-fast call (no need to hold the number and wait for the quick number to activate) and a mechanical lock key. In general, we thought about it for grandparents.
Reviews are mostly good or excellent. They note large, comfortable and soft buttons, with a comfortable distance between them, good readable font on the screen, good sound quality, and a long-lasting battery. There is a lanyard holder (you can hang the phone around your neck), and a relatively simple menu. The phone can recite numbers, which may be important for visually impaired people. Well, for those who are hard of hearing, we should note the high-quality speaker and the ability to set the volume using mechanical rocker buttons on the side of the case.
There is a radio, this is relevant. One of the bonuses is the ability to install two SIM cards.
No. 6 – ASUS ZenFone 5 ZE620KL
Price: 22,440 rubles
ASUS ZenFone 5 ZE620KL can be safely recommended both to users who listen to music through headphones and to those who like to play audio through stereo speakers. The last component in the gadget is made using a 5-magnetic design, which has a positive effect on the amplitude-frequency response of the speakers. They also stand out for their size, although this does not detract from the appearance of the smartphone. The signal to the speakers is supplied through amplifiers manufactured by NXP. They are enough for clear sound, even in the absence of a separate DAC. But it supports the aptX HD codec, as well as DTS Headphone:X surround sound technology.
The gadget is successful not only because of its sound. So, it is built on the Snapdragon 636 processor. The chipset is complemented by an Adreno 509 graphics accelerator and 4 GB of RAM. This combination is quite enough for the user not to experience problems in any modern game. The processor is distinguished by its energy efficiency, so the battery with a capacity of 3300 mAh is enough for one and a half days of battery life.

No. 5 – Xiaomi Mi8
Price: 25,820 rubles
Xiaomi Mi8 ranks fifth in the ranking of music smartphones 2018-2019. Many will be surprised by this, because the gadget does not have stereo speakers; instead, it offers a mono speaker, and even that is only one. However, it is quite loud, plus it cannot be covered with a finger when gripping horizontally. There are no special complaints about the sound quality - the frequencies are shifted towards the middle, but the rest are reproduced quite passably.
Headphone audio lovers will be disappointed by the lack of a 3.5mm jack. Therefore, you will have to use an adapter, since it is included in the kit. When you connect a headset to it, the sound is at an average level - there is no advantage in either direction. But the rest of the gadget’s components are pleasing – the top-end Snapdragon 845 processor has the potential to last for the next year or two, and the image is displayed on an AMOLED screen with a diagonal of 6.21 inches and a resolution of 2248 by 1080 pixels. It shows a clear and rich picture both when surfing the web and when watching videos.
Xiaomi Mi8
Nokia 6233
This legendary “push button maker” is also often mentioned on forums. It was released in 2005. At that time, all models of this manufacturer were successful. This device was no exception. In addition, it turned out to be the loudest phone in the Nokia line.
In addition to the cool sound, it had a stylish appearance and versatility. Since this is not a smartphone, but an ordinary mobile phone, it could, in particular, make calls, receive and send messages. In addition, I was even able to take photographs, although the 2 megapixel module was frankly bad.
No. 4 – ZTE Axon 9 Pro
Price: 47,000 rubles
The flagship ZTE Axon 9 Pro received stereo speakers. The first is located at the bottom end, the second is built right into the speaker. Both modules support Dolby Atmos technology, thanks to which the sound is clear and high-quality, and the built-in tools allow you to edit the sound. When playing audio files at high volumes, a drop in bass is noticeable, but we attribute this not to the shortcomings of the model, but to its features. As for the sound in headphones, everything is quite usual - the advantage is in favor of the mid frequencies. But the lack of a 3.5 mm jack is very confusing.
ZTE Axon 9 Pro also pleases with its image. It is displayed on an AMOLED display with support for HDR 10. The main feature of the technology is support for natural color reproduction. The Axon Vision system helps her with this. Thanks to this combination, the picture always remains pleasing to the eye and reveals the full potential of the AMOLED matrix.

Motorola Moto G8 Plus
- Display: 6.3 inches, FHD+, IPS
- Processor: Snapdragon 665
- Memory: 4/64 GB
- DAC: none
- Battery: 4000 mAh
Price: from 16,000 rub.
Budget smartphones are rarely equipped with stereo speakers, but the model from Motorola is a pleasant exception in this regard. The device has really high quality sound. Watching movies or listening to music without headphones is quite comfortable. The model’s features don’t end there – there is P2i splash protection, NFC, a 3.5 jack and a triple camera of 48+5+16 megapixels. Front camera – 25 MP.
Advantages:
- Fast charging.
- A high-quality camera and interesting shooting modes.
- There is NFC.
- Nice sound.
- Splash protection.
- Good performance.
Flaws:
- Motorola smartphones have always looked different from their competitors; the G8 Plus is a typical Android device without any distinct features.
- Combination slot.
- Stained body.
#3 – Google Pixel 3
Price: 63,900 rubles
The front stereo speakers in Google Pixel 3 are located in frames below and above the screen. They are not the loudest, but due to the fact that they are aimed directly at the user, there are no problems with audibility. Therefore, when watching movies or playing games, there are no complaints about their sound. It's strange that when you turn the volume up to full while playing music, the body begins to resonate.
The flagship comes with Pixel USB-C Earbuds. They have special ergonomics, so they are not suitable for everyone. However, in terms of sound, they outperform most third-party headsets, although they are far from top-end audiophile solutions from Sennheiser or similar companies. This manifests itself in a shift in balance in favor of mid and low frequencies. Nobody bothers you to buy more expensive headphones, just like connecting them to the Google Pixel 3 using the included adapter. The gadget also pleases with the fact that during a conversation both parties can hear each other clearly. Largely thanks to the noise reduction system, which cuts out extraneous noise.
Google Pixel 3
HighScreen Thunder
Another model that positions itself as the loudest. This is even noticeable by the name (thunder is translated from English as “thunder”). Therefore, it is not surprising that many people consider it a noisy phone.
The manufacturer himself claims that its volume can exceed 100 dB. Of course, this is more of a marketing ploy than the truth. The volume here is much lower. But again, in comparison with others, it really sounds very loud.
To prove its coolness, the manufacturer added the loudest ringtones to the library. If you install them, there will be much less missed ones. True, others may be scared.
Under the cover of the device there is a large speaker, which once again proves the manufacturer’s attempts to create the loudest device.
#2 – LG V40 ThinQ
Price: 34,000 rubles
LG V40 ThinQ is a real find for all audiophiles. The flagship smartphone is equipped with a 3.5 mm jack, which is missing in many premium solutions, as well as a 32-bit and 4-channel digital-to-analog converter that allows you to play high-definition audio files. All this is complemented by manual sound settings at your discretion, as well as support for DTS:X 3D Surround Sound and Boombox Speaker technology. The latter makes the sound louder in those moments when the smartphone lies on a flat surface.
The model is also interesting for its 6.4-inch display. It is made using AMOLED technology, so the color rendition of the screen is natural and the viewing angles are maximum. HDR10 is responsible for extended dynamic range. Thanks to this technology, you can enjoy the perfect picture both when watching videos and playing games. Fortunately, the Snapdragon 845 will allow you to run absolutely any project at maximum graphics settings.
LG V40 ThinQ
#1 – iPhone XS
Price: 74,000 rubles
The best music smartphone of 2018-2019 is the iPhone XS. When developing the new generation, engineers paid a lot of attention to its sound quality. The work was not in vain and the sound here is really much louder and richer. If we compare it with the previous “ten”, the iPhone XS is 25% ahead of its predecessor in volume. As for the quality, it is close to ideal, but not without flaws. For example, too shrill sound at maximum volume is confusing. It is optimal to set the value to 90%; all audio files are played crystal clear on it.
The remaining features of the iPhone XS are already clear to everyone. First of all, the top-end Apple A12 Bionic processor, which will delight you with its performance for another two or even three years. Secondly, a large frameless 5.8-inch screen with a resolution of 2436 by 1125 pixels. Thanks to it, using a smartphone turns into a real pleasure - the picture is full of rich colors, but there are no problems with oversaturation.
