A universal solution for everyone

Elderly people often choose Darina brand products. Old people especially appreciate mechanical control, which, in comparison with electronic control, is uncomplicated and simple. Price plays a role again: this economical option fits into any budget without any problems. The safety system of these kitchen appliances (gas control and electric ignition) is also of no small importance, and the versatility of Darina gas stoves allows them to be connected both to central communications and to a liquefied gas cylinder.

This article only discusses stoves with gas burners, but this does not mean that they are exactly the same. The burners have different diameters and power. An undoubted advantage is protection from direct contact with fire thanks to the ability to ignite the burner by simply pressing a button, and to adjust the gas power in the burner, simply turn the levers.

How to choose a Darina gas stove?

The Darina brand product catalog for 2021 includes more than 50 models of various kitchen stoves with both gas and electric ovens. In order not to get confused in front of all this diversity and choose exactly what is required, you need to clearly define the characteristics that you should pay attention to first. At first glance, it seems that many models are exactly the same and simply duplicate each other, but this is not so. There are always differences, often quite significant, that make one model preferable to others. And it's not just design and size.

There are a number of technical characteristics that you should pay attention to first.

Number and type of burners

Most DARINA stoves are available with two or four gas burners. However, there are a number of models in which two burners can be gas and two electric. Here you need to decide for yourself which burners are more preferable, since both have their pros and cons. Gas burners are economical, instantly ignite and heat up to the desired temperature, but when cooking on them you must constantly monitor the intensity of the flame so that the dish does not burn and at the same time cooks at the correct temperature. Electric burners are easy to use, hold the set temperature well, but they consume electricity and can take a long time to heat up.

The question of the number of burners is no less important. If you need a stationary full-size stove on which you will cook a lot and often, then the choice is obvious - of course, 4 burners. If there is not much space in the kitchen, literally every centimeter is accounted for, and there are no ardent fans of cooking in the house, then you should think about a two-burner stove. With all the capabilities of a stationary stove, it will take up significantly less space.

Oven functionality

The brand's assortment includes models with both gas and electric ovens. According to numerous consumer reviews, electric ovens bake better because they are able to maintain the set temperature and heat the product evenly. They are easier to work with because you don’t have to constantly monitor the heating level. However, they consume electricity and even the most economical oven can affect the family budget if used frequently.

You should also pay attention to additional functionality, which can also vary significantly. In particular, when choosing a stove, you should decide in advance how important such options as oven lighting, the presence of convection and electric grill, the presence and type of timer will be, whether a visual temperature sensor is needed, how important automatic electric ignition is, etc. All these details can greatly affect the price of the model and its features.

Work surface cover and stove cover

All brand models are covered with durable enamel that can withstand heating temperatures of up to 800°C, but it can be difficult to clean from grease. Stove covers are available in both metal, enamel-coated and tempered glass. The second option is more visually impressive, but such material gets dirty quickly and can be difficult to clean without damaging the surface.

When choosing a stove, its safety in operation is of particular importance. Most Darina models have a gas control function that stops the fuel supply if the burner or oven flame goes out unexpectedly. This feature is present in many models, but not all, so you should pay special attention to it.

Advantages and disadvantages

Taking into account consumer reviews, we can highlight several advantages of slabs from domestic manufacturers:

pros

  • a wide range of models, each of which has an affordable price;
  • simple controls;
  • the presence of electric ignition and a gas control system, which ensure safe use;
  • universal devices: can operate from main and liquefied gas;
  • There are narrow models that are suitable for small kitchens;
  • easy to find spare parts for stoves.

Minuses

  • not all models have a rich set of functions;
  • sometimes cheap materials are used;
  • switches fail.

Expert opinion

Denis A.

DARINA L NGM521 01 B

Experience of use: less than a month Advantages: Finally, at the dacha, food is prepared really quickly and comfortably, just like at home! The enamel is very pleasant and high-quality in appearance, durable steel, the burners are small but really very powerful, the flame is even. When turned on, it doesn’t jump anywhere, it stands like a glove. In my opinion, the design is very nice. In short Disadvantages: Not found yet I can’t help but make a comment about the previous review. Yes, the burners are really small, but the power is determined not by the size of the burner, but by the size of the hole in the nozzle!!! Darina has a whole line of large stoves with the same burners. And by the way, they are more powerful than the tabletop stove of a well-known competitor with “large” burners. (Power 1.7 kW versus 1.9 kW for Darina) So I haven’t regretted the purchase yet, and I really like the black style tiles.

Arsen T. 5 Experience of use: several months Advantages: Not a bad tile for the money Disadvantages: Didn’t find it Comment: This stove does not work very well on liquefied gas, it does not smoke, but it’s not what you need, but it works great on natural gas, the jets are suitable from a similar Hephaestus, the flame is even, the burners, although small, have excellent power and heat quickly, overall an excellent tile, you can take it, but somehow I didn’t like it from the cylinder, but from the natural one it’s the best! (I have both gases) Addition to my review))) I slightly modernized the tile, it turned out better than the factory one))) I installed a large burner and a jet with a 65 m hole, the flame is beautiful and does not smoke without red tongues, the gas burns completely, it worked the ideal ratio of gas to air, I’m not a gas specialist, but it turned out great with a little skill, so I recommend that the tiles have become completely different!

DARINA 1AS GM521 001 W

Experience of use: several months Advantages: Compact. Two burners instead of four. A dubious advantage in the opinion of gas workers, but a plus for me - it’s lightweight and can be moved without problems if desired. Disadvantages: The burners are too strong (and the small one is not so small) compared to the ancient Carpathians-14 - it is almost impossible to put coffee to brew and do something else away from the stove. Again about the burners - they puff slightly (I don’t know what to call the sound more precisely) on minimal heat. The grate is not fixed and is slightly smaller than the recess on the surface, as a result, it rattles on the stove when moving a frying pan or other container (the grates, by the way, may be different for this model; I got a cross-shaped one and a heavy one, as in the photo below). You need dividers or stands for the crosspiece of the grate, otherwise some coffee pot runs the risk of falling on its side right during the brewing process. The grille is generally extremely bad and is made crookedly, so the vertical parts of the cross are slightly higher than the horizontal ones => the dishes wobble, but you can get used to it. When using the oven, the back wall becomes noticeably hot. Gas control only in the oven. Comment: The stove had to be changed urgently by order of Mosgaz; finances were limited at that time, and the stove was not particularly needed in principle (one burner for a coffee pot and a second for a frying pan or saucepan was more than enough for me). Despite a lot of minor flaws, the stove is good for its price. I wanted two burners - get it and sign for it.) Bugs in the welding of the grate can be compensated for, and its flights on the surface can be fixed using improvised means (but honestly, I would prefer to avoid these annoying little things). PS: throw away the plastic filter included in the kit right away, let the gas workers install a normal one.)

DARINA 1D1 KM241 311 W

Experience of use: less than a month Advantages: The design fits perfectly into the kitchen. An excellent oven - cooking is a pleasure. It keeps the set temperature exactly, plus convection speeds up the cooking process. There are many functions for each dish, you can choose the ideal cooking mode. The set included two trays at once - an enameled one and an aluminum one specifically for baking, very convenient, it will never burn and any dish is baked perfectly inside. Cast iron worktop grates prevent dishes from slipping and will never burn out. I was also pleased with the automatic ignition of the table burners - it’s very convenient and you won’t get burned. At the bottom of the stove there is a drawer for accessories; you can put away excess kitchen utensils. Disadvantages: none Comment: In general, the stove is excellent, the price is affordable for everyone, it is suitable for both one person and the whole family. I am very pleased that I replaced my old stove with Darina’s, I recommend it to everyone. I would like to wish the manufacturer and the entire team to continue to delight customers with these wonderful slabs and make new models for the further growth of your plant. DARINA B KM441 301 W

Experience of use: several months Advantages: nice design, price, electric oven Disadvantages: none found Comment: The stove is simply a miracle, a real helper in the kitchen! Firstly, it is compact and fits perfectly into the kitchen set. Secondly, although it is modest in its range of functions, it has everything you need, nothing superfluous. There are 4 burners at the top, a convenient grate, and a beautiful glass lid. The oven is electric and bakes simply amazing! Everything is baked, browned, does not burn, the temperature is regulated as needed. There is an Extra effect baking set. Also, a very useful thing. We have already prepared many dishes in this device, both pies and meat - no complaints. There is also a utility compartment in the stove, where you can hide large frying pans (we have a lot of them). In general, I and my entire extended family are very pleased with the stove. They even began to bake and cook all sorts of meat and flour delicacies in the oven more often) I recommend the stove to anyone who has decided to buy a new one. Only Darina, and only with an electric oven! By the way, even though it is electric, it consumes little energy, which is not noticeable for a modest budget. Excellent price-quality ratio!

DARINA F 3009 W

Experience of use: several months Advantages: convenient, reliable, very cheap despite all its advantages - because our Darina Disadvantages: the handles rotate a little stiffly, it’s a matter of habit Comment: I bought this stove for my summer house, it’s a very good thing. I’m glad that gas consumption is low: I use a bottled one, and the pair lasts for a season. The stove is quite modern, powerful, and cooking on it does not require much time. In my opinion, this is an excellent option not only for a summer house, but also for a city apartment, even if you cook it often. Convenient, reliable

Vera Ivanova

DARINA A 3001 W

Vera Ivanova 4 Experience of use: less than a month Advantages: None Disadvantages: The oven does not bake at all. There is no heating sensor, so you have to rely on what is written on the oven switch. But it is not correct, when rotating at least 250 degrees, the fire burns equally, although the difference is 100 degrees. At a minimum, the fire somehow went out, I noticed it in time. Apparently the oven needs to be at 300 degrees, but this does not correspond to the characteristics declared by the manufacturer and somehow I don’t want to risk it. What I baked at 270 in the photo for the comment. I called the manufacturer and they said wait, but they didn’t tell me what to expect. Was purchased for ozone Comment: The coating is also of poor quality, thin enamel felting felts, beaten felting felts or with iron gaps is not clear

Tatiana

DARINA C 1001W

Experience of use: several months Advantages: Has everything you need. Without prechindals and functions that are not used. Electrically independent. Disadvantages: Weak grille enamel. Previously, cast iron mugs were made for burners made of unpainted cast iron. Quite aesthetically pleasing. Enamel “for show” is a mockery of the buyer. Comment: The lack of auto-ignition can be eliminated with an inexpensive piezo lighter. A flashlight in each mobile makes oven lighting unnecessary. The oven glass is made of transparent glass, without designer grids, patterns or shading. Like a car windshield. Everything is simple and convenient, without being expensive or rich.

Kirill Sergeevich

DARINA 1B GM441 105 W

Experience of use: several months Advantages: compact gas control, not expensive. Everything works, nothing superfluous Disadvantages: lack of electric ignition, Comment: uneven baking of pies, the bottom burns and the top is damp

Natalya K.

DARINA 1B GM341 107 W

Experience of use: several months Advantages: Gas control system, electric ignition, fire supply functions, at the bottom of the stove there is a convenient drawer for storing utensils Disadvantages: no electric ignition in the oven Comment: High-quality gas stove at an affordable price. The stove can be connected to an electrical outlet; the model is equipped with an electric ignition, which simplifies the process of turning on the gas. The gas stove is covered with a good layer of enamel, it is easy to clean it from dirt, scale, and wipe off dust; you just need to have a cloth on hand and the stove will always shine. The fire supply function allows you to set the gas, which will be sufficient for combustion. This is convenient when you need to stew vegetables or cook meat in a special way. At the bottom of the stove there is a special drawer where you can put used items.

Vladimr Kazantsev

DARINA S KM521 300 W

Experience of use: several months Advantages: Power is good, everything is fast Cleaning is not difficult The cabinet is good Disadvantages: When the door is open for more than 5 minutes, the 10A machine knocks out - specify in the instructions or before work No indicator light is on. off heaters are somehow better when you see how the automation works, and in terms of safety and security, it’s a cheap thing. Comment: The light bulb for the oven-door is glass, and behind it it is dark. The grill would not hurt. Drawer for utensils. All this happened back in the 70s. Timer with signal and shutdown. suddenly they forgot about the crackers. Electric ignition of burners. Turning off the gas when the flame goes out. We need to produce all sorts of things, both simple and ultra-modern.

Grisha K.

DARINA S KM521 300 W

Experience of use: several months Advantages: inexpensive, narrow, the oven consumes little electricity Disadvantages: only 2 burners - the downside of compactness. When you're preparing something for a holiday, there's not always enough Comment: I bought a Darina stove three months ago, I'm very pleased with the functionality and compactness, there haven't been any problems with quality so far, the gas workers installed it for me, they didn't complain, so there were no problems with the installation either

Why they love domestic kitchen appliances “Darina”

It's no secret that the result of preparing a dish largely depends not so much on the cook, but on the impeccable operation of the oven. Reviews of Darina kitchen stoves only indicate that they have long been loved by housewives for their luxurious range of functions and the ideal quality of main and secondary parts. Other advantages of this kitchen appliance include:

  • High-quality and very durable grilles that are easy and convenient to remove for cleaning.
  • An easy-to-clean surface that does not require the use of special detergents.
  • The coating is resistant to scratches and high temperatures.
  • The oven doors open smoothly and the gas supply switches very smoothly.
  • Standard dimensions and weight of the slabs: height 85 cm, depth - no more than 60 cm. The weight of any of the models does not exceed 50 kg.
  • To cook on the Darina gas stove, according to reviews, you do not need special utensils - just ordinary metal utensils.
  • Each new series is equipped with a mechanical or electronic timer and additional compartments.

Country style

Those who are at least a little familiar with the model range of this brand understand what we are talking about. This is the Darina GM241 015 BG stove. In reviews she is often called differently - “Darina Country”. From the name of the model it is easy to guess its unusual design. This stove belongs to the highest price category of the company's range, but not because of its original rustic style. Here's what the buyers themselves say about the advantages of Darina Country:

  • Manufactured according to GOST, which guarantees long service life and safe operation.
  • Equipped with an integrated ignition function and an “extra effect” non-stick kit.
  • Spacious 50-liter oven.
  • The cast iron grate is divided in half - this allows you to wash it directly in the sink.
  • Possibility to fix the switches in the “minimum fire” mode for simmering or stewing dishes.
  • Availability of a clock-timer.
  • Economical consumption of energy resources.

Reviews of the Darina gas stove GM241 015 BG will help potential buyers draw a conclusion about the practicality of this model. Thus, housewives with experience in operating kitchen appliances from different brands note that using the ignition on this stove is very convenient, since it is built into the switches on the control panel. This allows you to turn on the burners with one hand. Another plus is good oven lighting and the presence of a thermostat. By the way, cheaper models are deprived of it.

Models with electric ovens

There are a lot of positive reviews on the Internet about Darina gas stoves with an electric oven. The price for such equipment ranges from 8,700-14,000 rubles. With an electric oven, it is more convenient to prepare complex dishes, since the heat is distributed evenly, and the product is baked from below and from above.

Now let’s get acquainted with the most popular options in order to get a more detailed idea of the domestic production of Darina gas stoves. In reviews, buyers most often express their opinions about the experience of using several models.

Darina 1AS GM 521 001 W with two burners

For a small apartment you cannot find a more suitable option than this two-burner gas stove "Darina". Reviews about this model are contradictory: some praise the stove for its modest dimensions, others criticize it for its minimal set of functions. The indignation of buyers has strong arguments:

  • Thin grate on the hob.
  • No oven light.
  • It is not equipped with electric ignition and the gas control option.
  • There is no drawer for storing dishes.

It is worth paying a few words to the price of this stove. You can buy Darina 1AS GM 521 001 W for 6400-7000 rubles. This model is ideal for single people or a family of two. It takes up little space, and therefore will fit organically into the interior of any kitchen.
