Trajectory of movement
The trajectory of movement is either selected independently by the robot itself in automatic mode (random trajectory, by default), or programmed using control buttons located on the body or remote control (programmed trajectory). The nice white Ecovacs DeeBot M88 vacuum cleaner is made in a minimalist style, so there is nothing superfluous on its front surface, only the logo, the model name and the only Auto button that operates it.
On the side, like all competitors, the model has a shock-absorbing bumper on which sensors and a ventilation grille are installed.
On the bottom side of the Ecovacs DeeBot M88 there is nothing unusual, only wheels with a guide roller, a pair of side brushes plus the main one, located in the center of a round presentable device, contacts for replenishing energy at the station, a trash compartment lid and a place where a container with water and napkin.
Brushes
The main brush of the Ecovacs DeeBot M88 is floating, V-shaped, and easily adapts to uneven surfaces. Due to the fact that it fits tightly to the latter and during cleaning exactly repeats the topography of the floor, all surfaces, including carpets, are cleaned better.
The central brush is effective when carpet needs cleaning, and suction is effective when hair and pet fur need to be picked up from the floor.

Instructions for use
The Deebot M88 equipment comes with a battery charged 15-20%. The included operating instructions recommend installing the equipment on a floor station to charge the battery (4-5 hours). You must first turn on the power to the equipment circuits with a switch located on the bottom of the case. Before you start cleaning, you need to collect items from the floor that could clog the air intake duct or get wrapped around rotating working elements.
The Deebot DM88 robot vacuum cleaner is not designed to clean carpets with fringes that cause the side brushes to jam. The product design does not provide for a built-in algorithm for automatically releasing nodes. According to reviews from owners, it is recommended to roll up the fringed edges or roll the carpet.
