The display is an 8.3-inch matrix with a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels, made using IPS technology. Viewing angles are beyond praise, brightness and contrast are also excellent. Naturally, with such a high resolution, the picture looks simply magnificent - its clarity is due to the very high pixel density. Perhaps the only drawback is that in bright sunlight the screen goes completely blind and it becomes impossible to see anything on it.
Directly above the screen there is a front-facing 1.3-megapixel camera used for video communication. Naturally, there is a second one, 5-megapixel, designed for the needs of photo and video shooting. Unlike the front one, it is equipped with autofocus.
The main component of the hardware is a quad-core 1.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, complemented by 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of ROM. The configuration is really not bad - its performance is enough for comfortable use of gaming applications, and the interface does not slow down at all.
The capacity of the built-in battery is 4600 mAh. Accordingly, battery life is not particularly high - with wireless interfaces turned off, movies can be watched for five hours, while maximum performance reduces this figure to just over three.
Apple iPad Air (average cost RUB 32,000)
Of course, Apple is a generally recognized world leader in the production of all kinds of mobile devices, which is very difficult for other manufacturers to compete with. This time, too, it offered consumers an interesting device that stands out for its exquisite design and excellent workmanship.
The model is based on the dual-core 1.4-GHz Apple A7 processor, which became the first 64-bit processor based on the ARM architecture (for mobile devices, of course). A nice addition is 1 GB of RAM and 128 GB of ROM - the performance is excellent, and the interface and applications simply “fly”.
The main material from which the iPad Air is made is aluminum. The design is recognizable, it has not changed since the 2nd generation model. The only thing that makes the new model stand out is that it has become thinner and smaller - this has happened due to a significant reduction in the frames framing the device’s screen.
There are still two cameras, and the front one now has a resolution of 1.2 megapixels, while the main iSight has not undergone any changes.
iPad Air is equipped with a Retina display with a resolution of 2048x1536 pixels. The protective coating is a glass plate with a mirror-smooth surface, equipped with an oleophobic coating that prevents fingerprints. The main indicators are in perfect order - brightness, contrast, and viewing angles do not cause any complaints. The only thing I didn’t like was working in bright sunlight - the screen noticeably glares and the image on it becomes difficult to see.

Following the release of several e-book models that quickly gained worldwide popularity, the famous American online store decided to present to users its new vision of a modern tablet computer.
The strict rectangular body is made in dark colors, which gives the device a certain solidity. The front panel is a single glossy surface (by the way, quite easily soiled), while all other elements have a practical soft-touch coating. The material is plastic, although the quality of its processing does not raise any complaints.
There are two speakers, their volume is quite enough, although sophisticated music lovers are unlikely to like the quality. There are two cameras - 1.3-megapixel front and 8-megapixel rear. There is autofocus and LED flash.
The screen is not bad at all. It is based on an 8.9-inch IPS matrix with a resolution of 2560x1600 pixels, respectively, the viewing angles are simply excellent. Brightness and contrast are also excellent, although the display fades noticeably in bright sunlight. The sensor is capacitive, there is also a Gorilla Glass coating that protects against scratches and damage, so in this regard everything is in perfect order.
The hardware is built on the basis of a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, complemented by an Adreno 330 video accelerator. RAM is 2 GB, but the ROM is represented only by built-in 16 GB of memory; there is no possibility of expansion using cards.
The model runs the Kindle Fire Mojito 3.0 operating system, based on Android 4.2 OS. It has its own set of standard applications (Launcher, Appstore, Calendar, Contacts, Email, Gallery, Silk Browser, Swype Keyboard) and is optimized for working with Amazon services.
