Marshall Monitor II ANC
Marshall Monitor II ANC review - the best music phone model in 2021.
The Marshall Monitor II ANC ($307) is a fantastic alternative to high-end wireless headphones from Bose and Sony. With its expressive design, great sound and effective noise cancellation, the Monitor II is a great smartphone companion. I also really like the control of the gadget, and thanks to the “Passthrough” button, you can hear what is happening around you without taking off your headphones. If you are not afraid of the high price and the lack of an aptX audio codec, you can safely consider the Monitor II ANC.

JBL Tune 120 TWS
TOP Bluetooth headphones for your phone.
The JBL Tune 120TWS ($35) features a sleek and slim design with an ergonomic fit and is lightweight. The battery life of the headphones is 4 hours, and with the case - another 12 hours. A short 15-minute charge allows you to listen to music for an hour. If you're looking for inexpensive wireless headphones for your smartphone that provide reliable sound, I recommend considering the JBL Tune 120TWS. At a price of 7,000 rubles, this gadget is clearly not inferior to other similar models. More brand models can be viewed in the JBL rating.

Huawei FreeBuds 3
Review of Huawei FreeBuds 3 - the best headphones for an Android phone.
The rating of the best headphones for a phone continues to be Huawei FreeBuds 3 ($108) . This is a great choice for people who want a pair of AirPods-style headphones that are compatible with Android. The FreeBuds 3 sound great, they're a pleasure to use, and the case allows you to use the headphones for up to 20 hours. The model does not have the deep powerful bass that you find in other types of headphones, but for me it is more than enough - 80% of users will definitely be satisfied.

Greater listening comfort and less ear damage
Many of us love cool, rich music that can pump everyone up from the inside. We never have enough and we turn the volume higher and higher. But we rarely think that this hunger is associated with the characteristics of the eardrums, which simply stretch.
To minimize the damage to the ears, which frankly get tired even from not too loud music, regular rest is needed. Moreover, the sound source should be at the maximum distance from the eardrum. Needless to say, large headphones are a big winner ?
By the way, for a final answer to the question of comfort, I asked the question to my small focus group with a representative sample. The majority preferred large headphones - they don’t have to “stuff” anything into themselves and are simply convenient. But this is only true for stationary use.
Honor Magic Earbuds
Review of Honor Magic Earbuds - modern TWS headphones of 2021.
The Honor Magic Earbuds ($95) have a decent set of features considering the low price. They're capable of satisfying the needs of most users, but the short battery life and average sound quality mean that even music lovers and audiophiles should still pay a premium for more competitive smartphone headphones. However, the Magic Earbuds' comfortable fit, nice design, and excellent microphone make them ideal low-budget wireless headphones.

Higher impedance for better acoustics
To obtain the highest quality sound, you need two components - a cool sound source and good big “ears”. There are simply no truly interesting small headphones with high impedance, even for remotely resembling professional equipment, today. I didn't go into why, but I suspect it's physically impossible.
This is another argument in favor of large, high-impedance headphones. Only they are able to convey all the charm of audiophile equipment or something close to that definition.
However, high impedance headphones are completely useless without the proper equipment. The Mac will somehow upgrade them, but the iPhone cannot, even if it wants to. For a smartphone, you will have to buy an additional amplifier, or immediately look at some specific players.
Samsung Galaxy Buds+ (Plus)
Review of Samsung Galaxy Buds+ - earbuds for Samsung phones.
Of course, in the ranking of the best headphones for a smartphone, I might not have included the Samsung Galaxy Buds Plus ($126) . The gadget brings many important improvements over the original Galaxy Buds. Here they presented Spotify integration with the Galaxy Buds line of headphones. While this feature is new and I really liked it, the improved battery life, Qi wireless charging functionality, and improved microphone quality make these TWS wireless earbuds a compelling buy.
A huge advantage is the variety of color options: black, light blue, white and red.

Sony WF-XB700
Sony WF-XB700 review - good headphones for a Sony phone.
The first thing you notice about the Sony WF-XB700 ($108) is the power! Extra Bass technology creates almost perfect low-frequency sound. The bass really pumps and adds dynamics when listening to music on the phone. The case will allow you to listen to your favorite tracks for a full 18 hours. The headphones themselves are protected from moisture and dust thanks to IPX4. This is a huge plus, because you don’t have to worry about external factors and can calmly work out in the gym or at the stadium. And of course, a unique design that arouses interest and attracts the attention of others.

Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 2
Review of Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 2 - headphones for smartphones with active noise cancellation.
The Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 2 ($294) are some of the best-sounding wireless headphones you can buy today. They are ahead of Apple AirPods in sound quality and battery life. True Wireless 2 is suitable for almost any application. The gadget may be inconvenient if you have small ears, but in any other case you can wear it and not pay attention to it for several hours. The model stays firmly in the ears when playing sports, and the noise isolation is sufficient to suppress noise in the office. The balance of bass and treble is well adjusted, but the high latency and mediocre overall performance of the microphone will not allow you to enjoy gaming.

How to choose over-ear headphones
the sound engineer of the pop vocal studio Oleg Izyumov to give some professional advice .
– For most users, the problem of choice comes down to finding a reasonable balance between the available budget and sound quality. An important factor is that the quality of sound reproduction depends not only on the headphones, but also on the sound source: listening to the same track from an audio player or music center will differ. Users who need mobility are unlikely to need headphones with an impedance higher than 32 Ohms: a portable source simply cannot provide higher quality.
The price factor is not always directly related to sound quality. Let’s say that many Sennheiser models, which are considered obsolete in 2021, are capable of creating a completely adequate sound picture. To get an objective assessment of test tests, I recommend using the reference-audio-analyzer.pro service: reports are published here not only for professionals, but also for those who are faced with the problem of choice.
Another obvious tip: still pay attention to the brand. NoName's production technique may prove worthy when thoroughly researched, but it also has every chance of falling short of expectations. Such experiments can be carried out with in-ear headphones; I wouldn’t risk it with full-size ones.
I would recommend paying attention not only to technical parameters and customer reviews, but also listening to how the sound behaves depending on the model. Many nuances of sound reproduction (purity of low or high notes, timbre) will only be noticeable to professionals involved in sound processing. Fans should still listen to individual feelings. Even with identical characteristics, different models of the same class sound differently: this cannot be understood from the description alone.
Huawei Freebuds Pro
Review of Huawei Freebuds Pro - the best wireless headphones for a Huawei phone.
Huawei FreeBuds Pro ($175) are good headphones for your phone and connect easily via Bluetooth to both Android and iOS. They also provide high-quality sound thanks to 11 mm speakers. A huge plus is the effective active noise reduction function - it perfectly identifies external sounds, and voice transmission is almost perfect. The battery lasts up to 7 hours on a single charge. Larger diaphragm for better sound quality
If we ignore the numerous nuances and leave other variables at rest, it is the size of the diaphragm that is responsible for sound quality. The more, the better - the music plays cooler, fuller, more voluminous, and so on. In small headphones its diameter reaches only 9 mm, and in their older brothers it is 30 mm or more.
I deliberately visited almost all the electronics supermarkets in my city and I can say without a twinge of conscience that larger headphones always play better. But a small disclaimer is urgently needed here - we are talking about the same price category, because Chinese “rattles” will in any case be inferior to even the smallest branded options.
Since sound is a very subjective concept, I recommend trying to listen to headphones before purchasing. If not possible, rely on cost. Usually, the more expensive, the cooler. But this doesn't always work with "trendy" titles like Beats and the like.
Apple AirPods Pro
The best headphones for an Apple smartphone.
The eighth place in the ranking of the best headphones for phones in 2021 is taken by Apple AirPods Pro ($270) . If you are an iPhone owner and have been thinking about buying wireless headphones for a long time, then Apple AirPods Pro are a great choice. The noise reduction function is very effective, and the improvement in sound and design cannot but please fans of the brand. The gadget provides a better fit in the ear compared to the original AirPods, and the case supports wireless charging - these and many other factors make the headset one of the best to buy this year.

Bose Noise Canceling 700
Over-ear headphones for 2021 phone with ANC.
The Bose Noise Canceling 700 ($297) is one of the best headphones for a smartphone, thanks to its unique noise cancellation. This is exactly the update that Bose needed - the 700 has become the most attractive ANC gadget on the market. The model promises up to 20 hours of music (10 with noise reduction), and voice prompts will let you know how much time is left. The touch controls are reliable and the battery life is good enough to keep your music going for as long as you need it to.

Sony WH-XB900N
Driving, energetic and rich sound overall. Juicy, powerful booming bass available. At the same time, it cannot be said that the high and medium ones are lost against its background - absolutely not! The overall sound picture is detailed with an emphasis on low frequencies. This is not a minus - this is a feature of the headphones. — Excellent and very comfortable fit. You can wear it for hours without taking it off. At the same time, they look quite compact on the head, as for full-size ones. - Excellent passive and active noise reduction. On the subway I listen comfortably at 60-70% volume. Before that, I used AKG earplugs (included with the Samsung S10e), but they had to be constantly adjusted for better noise insulation and bass and the volume turned up by 90%, which is why my ears quickly got tired. With a noise canceler, listening is a pleasure - for a long time and at a comfortable volume. The noise of the carriage is distantly audible - this is not 100% soundproofing, but more than sufficient. — Excellent quality of materials and workmanship. Nothing creaks anywhere, it’s pleasant to hold in your hands. The surface is rough - no fingerprints remain. Compact when folded. — LDAC support, Type-C available. — Functional application with a bunch of settings. — There was not a single connection disconnection, unlike TWS headphones. Neither with a smartphone, nor with Smart TV. The connection is stable regardless of whether you are walking or taking the subway. Elari Nano was constantly guilty of this, as were Samsung Buds according to reviews. — Many people complain that headphones with active noise canceling make terrible noise if the wind blows. To be honest, I didn’t notice such a problem at all. The noise of a strong wind is audible, but it is not absolutely critical and does not hurt the ears.

Sennheiser RS 175-U
Sound quality, when connected via optical cables from a TV, complete absence of background noise, appearance, ease of use, standard AAA batteries (can be replaced over time). High-quality, solid headphones, easy to start using, for me they are convenient in everything. Just the model marking is not clear. Purchased as RS 175-U, the box says RS 175 on one side and RS 175-U on the other. At the same time, the prices for these models are different. The router standing next to the base causes interference, the sound cuts out all the time. The location of the adjustment buttons is not very convenient

Sony WH-H910N
Great sound. Frequency balance, panorama - subjectively some of the best sounding for similar money. Something better is already much more expensive. Fast connection via NFC, really convenient (disconnect, by the way, too). The noise reduction is good, the level is adjustable. They catch far, a couple of concrete walls easily, the sound does not stutter. Its own application in which you can configure an additional button, noise reduction, equalizer. One of those extremely rare cases when there is no desire to tweak the equalizer. The instrumental is very readable, even streaming music started playing (in HQ, of course, but still). Subjectively suitable for almost all genres of music. The sub-bass is a little lacking, but for “boom-pump” music you can find something simpler for the price.

JBL Live 500BT
Pleasant ear pads, high-quality hinges, excellent sound insulation, operation via the included 3.5 adapter does not consume the battery. I have been using the headphones for more than six months, only at home. I mainly use them via a wired connection with dualshock4. I don’t use all the included features, I’m not interested) I’m still pleased with the sound quality and overall comfort. Also read: TOP 16 best wired headphones: 2021 rating and which model to choose for your phone
There is something to say to those who are afraid to overpay and take who knows what sherpatreb: the earmuffs are really worthwhile, look nice, fit over my huge ears, and fit well on my big head, at the same time I wouldn’t call them bulky. Every day they lie in their place, next to the TV and wait in the wings. Reliability: 10 / 10 PS There is also a point that the wire included in the kit, on the side of the headphone input, the wire has a smaller jack than 3.5 and I’m not sure that if something happens to the wire, I will be able to find a replacement for it. PS2 They haven’t even scratched me in half a year, and I don’t store them on fabric)

SVEN AP-B900MV
I picked up these headphones by accident, because they were the only ones in stock in the store and in approximately the same price range as the ZET GAMING Renegade 2.4G headphones (they failed during the warranty period and the store suggested either replacing them with new ones or taking any other ones with recalculating the cost, I took SVEN AP-B900MV). I really liked the sound in these headphones. Before this I used Beats solo 2 wireless for a long time, but the Sven turned out to be more pleasant to my ears. The beats didn't have enough bass for me (I had to play with the equalizer), but these have good bass right out of the box. They fit well on the head, do not fall off or put pressure on them - they are comfortable. But after four hours I want to take them off. While winter doesn't make your ears sweat, let's see what happens in summer. I'm happy with the headphones like an elephant) I'll add my own review. After 4 months, one of the ear pads began to separate along the seam (see photo). It doesn’t affect the comfort of wearing or the sound quality, but it looks untidy because of it.

Sony WH-XB900N
Out of the box the sound in my ears took me back to 2012. to the nine with a subwoofer in half the trunk and a Lil Jon compilation on a flash drive. Well, we are serious guys now, what kind of nines? But for this feeling you will need to tinker: 1. First, I connected my ears via a wire to the Zishan Z3 tweaknotum with FLAC of different genres, without turning on the power, and adjusted the equalizer on the player (severely cut the 60-100Hz range, raised the middle and a little top). Wow, they can play music! But that’s not why I bought wireless headphones. The lace goes into the drawer along with Andrea Bocelli's bottles, eh-khe. 2. Then over the air I connected the phone and again returned to my ninety-one from the past. To adjust the equalizer, you need to switch to “Stable connection priority” in the Sony app, and this is an SBC codec instead of Aptx HD. I throttled the bass, raised the highs and... that's it (attached screenshot of settings). I got a pop sound that satisfies me for calling with colleagues and listening to Y.Music in HQ on the street. Advice to future buyers - if you only listen to the top YA Music - take the xb900n without second thoughts - dolbit normalno, as they used to glue on basins. If you think that it was your ears that God created from delicate Philadelphia cheese and only for the voice of Jose Carreras, pass by the Sony XB series.

Sony WH-XB900N
Touch control is a thing, and you can really appreciate it only by trying it. They sit comfortably on your head - you can use them for several hours without experiencing much discomfort. Operating time is 30 hours - quite comfortable. I’m not a music lover, so the choice of headphones was based on the versatility of their use: comfort on the head, long operating time, sound quality, work with Windows 10, the presence of a microphone headset (for conversations on Skype/Teams), ease of control, connection stability, affordable price. In the end, the choice fell on the Sony WH-XB900N, the price fell out of the desired criteria (expensive), but the name Sony clouded my mind and outweighed everything. We read rave reviews/reviews that promise music lovers Hi-Res quality sound with Sony’s codec – LDAC. Forget Sony's marketing stories about Bluetooth sound quality, any modern Bluetooth headphones produce sound worse than CD quality (and with any codec). As for the much-hyped LDAC codec by Sony, you have to be a very, very good music lover to notice the difference in sound (at maximum quality) from the aptX HD codec, and at the same time you lose all sound quality settings, i.e. listen to music according to the taste of the headphone manufacturer. If you were able to find music in the LDAC codec, then the connection to the audio source is performed in 330 kbps mode by default, which corresponds to the quality of the aptX codec. If you are very, very lucky and find a sound source with max. quality for LDAC (990 kbit/s), then the sound quality will still be lower than CD quality. At the same time, at max. quality (990 kbit/s) you lose the stability of the connection (which again will negatively affect the sound quality). And the difference in sound with different codecs can be explained simply - by different sound profile settings, and here the equalizer will help you. If you consider yourself a music lover and want to listen to music in HI-FI quality, then buy good, expensive headphones (and definitely not Bluetooth) and listen from a high-quality sound source (and not from a cheap smartphone). Because Bluetooth sound is much worse than wired sound in all respects. My opinion is that the Sony WH-XB900N wireless headphones have not met modern requirements in terms of functionality for a long time; I do not recommend buying them (and similar ones from Sony). The price tag is very high, the functionality is outdated, we are overpaying for the brand, not for quality. If all the disadvantages described above are not significant for you and money is not a problem for you, then otherwise this is a good choice for headphones. After quite a long time of use, I give them a price/quality rating of 2 points. At the same time, I won’t say that these are bad headphones, but they are definitely not worth the money.

SVEN AP-B900MV
— they cope well with the passive and active noise reduction functions. On the subway, you can relax and not try to squeeze your ears into a tube at the sounds of an approaching train. Listening to music is quite comfortable. Low-frequency noise, which creates the main discomfort, is suppressed. People's voices and similar spectrum pass through. I did not conduct special tests for all types of noise. I think that if you are flying on an airplane and there is a crying child nearby, then it will be the main source of discomfort that the headphones will not cope with (not counting the possibilities of passive sound insulation). — did not have the opportunity to compare with more expensive analogues in terms of sound quality. They probably play worse than the AKG that comes with the Samsung S10, or the wired ATH-M50x I have. But a direct comparison of these devices does not make sense, since it is difficult to listen to headphones without noise reduction in noisy conditions. Overall the sound is good. Strangely enough, they play better with the noise reduction turned on. I haven't tried connecting via wire. — connection with Samsung S10 works well. Never got lost. Not at home within the travel distance of a medium-sized apartment, not on the street, not in the subway. — noise reduction is turned on separately from turning on the headphones themselves. Those. the device can simply work as a noise canceler) Perhaps this may be useful to someone - as a headset they work quite normally. You can hear your interlocutor perfectly, and it doesn’t seem to be bad for me either. I haven’t tested the ease of managing calls from a headset. I have enough control from my phone. - The battery is enough. I haven’t tested the limits, but it looks like the stated operating hours are close to reality. I got the headphones for free. I even thought, why do I need them? Maybe I’ll sell them while they’re new, but after trying them out, I decided to keep them) A good device in its price range

Vadim P. The sound quality is good, but sometimes there are not enough low frequencies, you can always tweak the equalizer. I liked the Ambient Aware technology; you don’t have to take off your headphones to hear what’s happening around you. The operating time of 30 hours without recharging seems to be true, I charge it every 1.5 - 2 days. Additionally, I would like to note the soft headband, the ability to fold, and receiving firmware updates through the JBL Headphones application. I use it every day for several months, I think that for the price of 5,000 rubles. You can close your eyes to their shortcomings, except for Google Assistant. During use, the appearance has not changed in any way, nothing has come off or peeled off.

Cool headphones with VERY cool sound, clear and detailed. Now I can do things around the apartment and listen to music calmly flowing through 2 walls. Considering that the experience of using previous wireless, full-size, but cheap headphones was extremely sad. The sound came from a barrel. I'm talking about Chinese noname with Ali for 3 thousand and edifier w830bt. These headphones even matched the sound of my gaming Sennheiser gsp 301, in which I really liked the sound. The moment has come for me when I can get rid of wires without sacrificing quality. As for the microphone, I don’t use it, as headphones are for home use. But my friends on discord didn't like it. What I really liked was the bass, it’s enough even for the most fanatical bass lovers. It’s such that when there’s a lot of it in a track, the speakers move, I really like it. Especially in shooters, during explosions the speakers shake, adding to the immersion in the game. By the way, the headphones were successfully tested in KS, you can hear everyone around. Fortunately, all aspects of sound are regulated on the phone. What saddens me is that the full-size headphones are a stretch, because I was sitting in normal large headset headphones, and my ears are cramped in the Sony ones. And I’m still wondering whether to sell these headphones to me or not. I really don't want to part with them. Regarding purchasing on ebay. You can’t pay with a world card, so I had to create a virtual card, fortunately, this is a matter of minutes. It’s better to order goods on ebay through PayPal, because it’s easier to get your money back if something happens. Paypal is easy to register, nothing complicated. I bought a product in an open box, this is a new product, but was returned by the buyer for some reason, I didn’t like the color, etc. Such products are much cheaper than new ones in the store. In fact, they are new, without defects, just opened. When purchasing on ebay, I advise you to pay attention to such products, they are the most profitable. The headphones are controversial for me, everything is spoiled by the small ear pads, in the photos and reviews the headphones seem big, but they are not.

SVEN AP-B900MV
I bought it for a laptop, it connects via bluetooth. I use it for gaming and for Skype and Zoom calls. The microphone for negotiations is good, although it is not remote, you can hear me perfectly. The games have good positioning and due to the fact that the sound quality is really cool, it’s pleasant to play, especially when the game has powerful music. I rarely connect them to my phone, because I have smaller headphones, but I’ve used them too. The charge lasts for 15 hours, just enough to travel from one city to another by train or plane. Audio-Technica ATH-M50x for dudes
Full-size headphones look quite aesthetically pleasing, if not branded. Elements of corporate style are present on the closed cups and the massive-looking but comfortable headband, reminding us that this is not consumer goods and promising appropriate quality. Excellent compatibility with smartphones and portable audio equipment is expressed in decent sound with a rich midrange, without sharp dissonance with the upper and lower notes. The folding design allows you to compactly place the device in a case or bag.

Station wagons Sennheiser HD 201
The design of the accessory is no frills, but it doesn’t look cheap either. This is a budget option with optimal technical characteristics. The elongated ear pads are not rotatable, but can be placed comfortably with the help of an adjustable headband. The sound retains its natural brightness at the midrange level, the bass lacks depth, and the upper notes lack development. The excellent equipment level does not let you forget that this is a model from a branded manufacturer.
