In a new color
One of the most persistent stereotypes in the design of hobs is the strong assignment of black to glass ceramics. It really has a lot of advantages: in combination with the material, this color looks very impressive, and the controls are clearly visible on it.
In addition, it is not difficult to put together a set with the rest of the “built-in” - there are not many nuances and shades of black. But black is quite a radical color, and not every kitchen can accommodate it painlessly. In addition, people are accustomed to it, and therefore new colors attract double attention.
White has become a bright alternative to black. It should be noted that this color, especially in glass ceramics, is no less effective; its purity and simplicity make the interior more fresh and cheerful.
The appearance of a white “built-in” in the kitchen is adding a constant source of positivity to it. In our country, white is always stereotypically associated with the concept of cleanliness, which for many housewives is another source of satisfaction.
But at the same time, white glass ceramics really looks cleaner - maintenance flaws (smears, traces of touches) are not so noticeable on it; crumbs, drops, dust are always clearly visible on a black panel, but on a white panel they are not noticeable.
The white hob looks especially impressive when paired with an oven and another “built-in” with a white glass front.
The white models are made by companies that pay a lot of attention to design, although most collections have only one of them, with the exception of Gorenje, where there are as many as seven options, and they were developed by famous designers Ora-Ïto and Karim Rashid Rashid).
Here are some examples: Gorenje ECT 680-ORA-W, Bosch PIB672E14E, De Dietrich DTI 705 W, Barazza 1PI60IDB, Longran FH 4550 WH, Baumatic B72TCW. White tempered glass used in gas models Smeg PVB750, Siemens EP612PB21E, Gorenje GT 640 BW, Zigmund & Shtain MN 134.61 W looks no less impressive.
Gorenje ECT 680-ORA-W, RUB 21,000. The panel is from the collection created by the designer Ora-Ito, it is white, but the left side is made slightly darker, the hearths are marked with thin concentric circles that help to navigate the functionality, the front edge is beveled. The panel is equipped with Hi-Light type burners, the front one on the left has three working circuits. There are timer functions for each of them, a heating function, “Stop&Go”.
Bosch PIB672E14E, RUB 23,000. Induction hob with Touch Control and 17-step power control. The far left burner has an oval extension. All zones can be used in Power Boost mode. The color of the panel is not completely white - with a very slight gray tint.

Experience of use: several months Advantages: Small burner for 3 items, which is very convenient. I use it and am happy because... heats up quickly and cooking does not take much time + the timer can be set on each burner separately. It washes well, sometimes I clean it with a blade. Comment: I bought it for a small studio and wanted to save some space, as is usually the case in small apartments, but I also didn’t want an ugly panel for 2 heating. Now I understand that this was the best decision because... 4 is a lot, but 2 is not enough.

Pros: Warm up. Raises and maintains temperature very smoothly. This is especially noticeable at maximum speed. Three burners, actually six. The main large one has a mode for increasing the heating circuits. This is very convenient when you don’t need to use a large surface, but need a medium one. Thanks to this, there is more space left on the stove + you can use all three burners (active use on NG confirmed this). Disadvantages: Didn't notice. Comment: A comfortable hob with an optimal number of burners and high-quality work. I was basically looking for three burners and was right, because I noticed long ago that rarely anyone uses more than three. And the ability to change the heating size is ideal for my dishes. The panel has standard touch controls and is protected from flooding. The panels do not have a plug as standard, so be prepared for that! This one, like many Electroluxes, has four (!) wires for connection, pay attention to this. It’s easy to connect, instructions are on the case, and YouTube will help you.

Completely satisfied with the purchase! The kitchen space is limited, so we were looking for a compact panel with three burners, which, due to their location, are much more convenient than four. This option turned out to be optimal: reasonable price, laconic design, width 45 cm (for many manufacturers, a panel with three burners is no different in size from the standard 60 cm). The touch buttons respond quickly to touch, even with wet hands. The panel has been in active use (2 burners at a time, several times a day) for more than four months now, and no complaints have been found. When the equipment pleases with its high-quality work and looks great in the kitchen, then you want to cook much more, it’s easier to handle familiar dishes and the desire to experiment awakens.
