Expanding the capabilities of the multicooker
The multicooker significantly expands the capabilities of the multicooker by increasing the cooking functions. A person uses such modes independently, setting one or another, taking into account the temperature and cooking time. In this case, you can set several modes sequentially, manually changing the temperature and time.
This is reminiscent of regulating the supply of gas or electricity to the burners of a hob. But you don’t need to monitor the preparation of food. The device independently monitors recipe parameters, taking into account the set temperature and cooking time.
Standard set of multicooker functions
This unit is considered a universal device that combines the options of several types of kitchen appliances. The models make daily cooking easier, especially for consumers with limited time. The versatility of the devices allows you to get a different menu for every day, while satisfying the taste desires of all consumers. Program sets may differ slightly, because the units have basic programs and additional functions installed. The standard list includes the following modes:
- Stewing - intended for meat, fish, vegetables. Such dishes are created with minimal addition of fat, the ingredients do not burn, retain their beneficial vitamins and remain juicy;
- Soups and pilaf - this program allows you to prepare broths, soups, pilaf, compotes;
- Cereals and milk porridges - designed for obtaining crumbly dishes, heat is distributed over the entire working surface, due to which the thermal effect is maintained. In order for the cereals to reach the correct consistency, it is necessary to observe the proportions of water and food;
- Frying and steak - products are fried in oil;
- Bread and pastries - execution of oven options, suitable for baking biscuits, pizza, pies, omelettes, roasting meat, vegetables and fish.
Healthy! The name of the programs may differ slightly for different brands, but all models have a standard set of functions, regardless of the brand.
The difference between a multicooker and an automatic mode
For preparing many dishes, the “multi-cook” is indispensable. For example, it will take 1.0-1.2 hours to prepare buckwheat porridge, while the automatic time is limited to 50 minutes. This is not enough, so you have to turn the device on again and turn it off manually after half an hour, which is very inconvenient.

Some porridges with milk cook much faster. Therefore, their cooking process will have to be stopped manually. With a multicooker, these unpleasant moments disappear by themselves. An operating mode is created manually, a certain time and temperature are set, which determine the complete readiness of the dish without additional human intervention. You can set the process parameters by dividing the cooking time. That is, you can prepare it in stages.
Thus, if you purchase a regular multicooker without a “multi-cooker,” then you can cook in it only those dishes that are specified by the manufacturer. There is no diversity as such here. For example, budget models of the Supra brand are only automatic.
Criteria for choosing a multi-kitchen
To choose the right device for your home, pay attention to the following characteristics:
- power;
- equipment;
- number of programs;
- bowl volume;
- diameter and height of the frying pan;
- control method;
- dimensions and weight;
- degree of security;
- manufacturer.
The volume of the bowl is an important criterion that determines how much food you can cook at one time. Depending on the model of the device, this figure varies from 1 to 10 liters. For a large family, a device with a 4-5 liter bowl is perfect; in it you can quickly prepare lunch for 5-6 or more people.
Good products are offered by REDMOND, which has proven itself in the household appliances market.
How to use the multicook function
This function works simply. For this:
- The products are being placed into the multicooker.
- Press the “multi-cook” button on the control panel. On some devices it is replaced by the “Manual mode” button.
- The cooking time is set.
- The step of increasing or decreasing the temperature is set. After which the device itself brings the dishes to full readiness.
The temperature in the multicooker is increased or decreased up to a degree, and the time is up to a minute or a second. High accuracy requires experience in cooking, so manufacturers and experts recommend first learning how to use the basic functionality of the device, and then moving on to more complex recipes.
Is he really needed?
The presence of multicooker or multicooker plus functions significantly increases the cost of the multicooker. Before purchasing, you need to decide whether you really need these options in a multicooker or whether standard automatic programs with which you can cook most dishes will be sufficient. If you buy a multicooker to relieve yourself of household chores (to get rid of the need to get up early in the morning to cook porridge or rush from work in the evening to have time to prepare dinner for the whole family), then the programs built into the multicooker will be enough for you.
Buying a multicooker with a manual setting mode is worth it for those who primarily like to spend a lot of time in the kitchen, surprising loved ones with new, original dishes and creating their own recipes. In this case, a multicooker will help make all your ideas come true, and will not limit your imagination.
Multicook capabilities
Modern multicookers are characterized by increased functionality, which increases the possibilities of preparing dishes. For example, Polaris multicookers have a “Multicook+” mode in their functionality.
This is the ability to combine mode settings manually, setting a certain sequence of operations. In essence, this is the activation of several cooking modes for one dish. Eg:
- Heating of products placed in the device to +120C for 20 minutes.
- Maintain the temperature for half an hour.
- Temperature drop to +90C in 5 minutes.
- Fixing the temperature for the entire remaining time - 1.5 hours.

Thus, the preparation of the recipe occurs step by step with changes in the cooking parameters. And within each stage you can change these parameters. The “multi-cook+” function can be used for stewing vegetables, baking bread, and frying meat. There are no restrictions in this regard.
Features and purpose of multi-kitchens
To make sure that this technique is necessary, let’s consider why it is needed. With this device you can:
- cook first courses;
- prepare side dishes;
- fry meat, cheesecakes and pancakes;
- bake bread and desserts;
- prepare yogurt.
The multi-kitchen has many programs: multi-cook, steaming, soup, stewing, porridge, pilaf, pasta, baking, bread, express, heating and others. You can choose automatic modes or the manual setting function, which allows you to set the cooking time and temperature yourself. If desired, you can save these parameters and select a name for the program.
Included with the device you receive the following devices and accessories:
- cup;
- steaming rack;
- frying pan;
- air fryer;
- beaker;
- a spoon and a ladle that do not damage the surface of the dishes;
- forceps;
- holder and others.
The bowl and pan can have a non-stick, ceramic or Teflon coating that prevents food from burning, regardless of the selected cooking mode. The cooking vessel is very easy to install and remove, it can be washed and stored in the appliance or separately.
You can adjust the temperature from +35 to +175 degrees, so you can experiment with different recipes. The lid closes hermetically, so the liquid does not evaporate and you do not need to constantly add water or check that the dish does not burn.
Advantages of a multicooker
The advantages of a multi-cook include:
- Multifunctionality.
- Temperature range from +5C to +170C with adjustment steps from 1° to 10°.
- The cooking setting can be changed during the cooking process.
- A huge variety of recipes, both traditional and homemade.
The advantage of a multicooker is a wide variety of recipes
Characteristics of several popular models
Multicooker "Polaris" 0517:
- Temperature range from +40C to +160C in 10° increments.
- Time setting from 5 minutes to 12 hours. The adjustment step is 5 minutes.
Multicooker "Redmond" M90:
- Temperature: 35-170C in 5° increments.
- Time: 5 minutes to 12 hours. The step is 1 minute if the cooking time is set to less than one hour, and 5 minutes if the cooking time is set to more than one hour.
Multicooker "Panasonic" MHS181:
- The temperature varies from +40C to +130C. Step 30°, that is, only four positions: 40, 70, 100 and 130 degrees.
- The time range depends on the cooking temperature setting. If the dish is cooked at a temperature of 100-130C, then it will be ready within 2 hours. If the temperature is set to +70C, then the cooking time is set in the range from 0.5 to 2 hours. If the temperature does not exceed +40C, then you can cook in a slow cooker for 1 to 8 hours.
Thus, different models and brands of multicookers allow you to choose a good device specifically for yourself, taking into account the functionality of the multicooker.

Bork products are manufactured by a remarkable company, which, being Russian, first laid claim to the notorious German quality, and then to the corresponding prices.
Today we will look at her U800 induction multicooker, which at first glance evokes the respect that Russians have had for their neighbors from the west since the time of the Novgorod princes. The manufacturer calls his creation a multi-chef and promises to bring culinary masterpieces of the level of a professional chef to every kitchen. What distinguishes the Bork multi-chef from other multi-cookers in the upper price segment? Firstly, induction heating, which makes the temperature control process incredibly flexible: the bowl will quickly heat up to the set temperature and just as quickly stop heating after turning off the program. Secondly, the accuracy of electronic control, which allows you to maintain the set temperature with an accuracy of 1 degree and set the cooking time in 1-minute increments. Thirdly, multichef offers as many as 20 degrees of protection and a valve self-cleaning function.
A pleasant bonus for busy people will be three automatic programs that will create culinary masterpieces of Italian cuisine with just one click of a button (information for allergy sufferers: two out of three recipes are with seafood). In addition, the multichef contains 11 cooking programs adapted for the Russian market (for example, there is a separate mode for cottage cheese), and the “Multichef” that is so necessary for experimenters.
The flexibility of the settings allows you to use the device as a steamer, pan, saucepan, cauldron, oven, pressure cooker and slow cooker, and, of course, as a rice cooker, from which it was born. It's no secret that the Bork U800 is a Russified Lihom Cuchen CJH-PA1001IC, to which voice prompts were added and a 3-year warranty was given, while significantly increasing the cost for the end consumer.
By the way, Bork is not the only domestic company that has appreciated the quality and functionality of Lihom products - just compare the appearance of the Lihom Cuchen CK-P1820 with the Oursson MP5005PSD we reviewed earlier. However, given the fact that multicookers (as far as we know) are not produced at all in Russia, the focus on products from Korean rather than Chinese manufacturers from companies laying claim to the premium segment of our market already inspires certain hopes.
In this review, we will try to understand how Bork “multi-chef” justifies its price.

Equipment
The packaging in which the multicooker arrived to us should ideally be supplemented by a certified unpacking specialist, because if you remove the device yourself, trouble may occur. We avoided it only because of extreme caution: when we took the colored box out of the shipping box, the bottom of the latter opened. Fortunately, we managed to lift it quite a bit, so the multi-chef did not receive any damage, which cannot be said about our nerves. If the Bork company glued the bottom of the boxes with the same tape and attached a handle to the top, it would be much more convenient and calm for customers. The design of the long-suffering packaging is bright and at the same time laconic: on the sides the device itself is depicted and its key characteristics are noted. Matte cardboard in combination with silver foil of the logo looks stylish and solid, matching the contents of the box.
The equipment of the multicooker is almost the maximum possible:
- the multicooker itself;
- inner bowl;
- steaming basket with two sections;
- 2 measuring cups of different capacities;
- stirring spatula;
- 4 ceramic cups with lids;
- power cord;
- instructions;
- book of recipes.
In addition to the basic package, we received a separately published book with 200 recipes and were even somewhat confused when we found recipes in the instructions, and in the small recipe book, and in this huge volume. A search on the Internet opened our eyes, where we saw repeated customer regrets that a book with 200 recipes was not included in the package of a multicooker costing more than 30 thousand. The presence of two measuring cups also puzzled us, since this point was not covered in the instructions, but we have a guess: the smaller glass has the inscription “diet cup” on it, and, apparently, it should help reduce portions.
The plastic spatula included is no different from its analogues, except for its black color, which harmonizes well with the design of the bowl and the multicooker as a whole. For such a low-budget purchase, someone might have expected to see a silicone spatula, but let's hope that its greater safety for covering the bowl is exaggerated, and plastic will do just as well.
The steaming basket is very different in its design and material: it is translucent plastic with artistically cut patterned holes and two levels created by an additional round insert. This way you can steam two types of food at the same time and save time. Considering that they take it out hot from boiling water, the basket would benefit from handles or tongs.
Bowl and other accessories
The main and only bowl boasts an eight-layer material and a non-stick coating with activated carbon, which successfully performs its immediate functions. In appearance, wall thickness and corresponding weight, it resembles a small cast-iron cauldron, so lovers of pilaf and other Asian dishes will certainly appreciate it. By the way, this is the second induction multicooker we have tested, and it confirms the trend of using heavy, thick-walled bowls in these products.
The bowl has comfortable thermally insulated handles that do not prevent the lid from sealing tightly. The only thing that can be written down as its disadvantages is the small usable volume, amounting to only 3 liters. On the other hand, this is enough for lunch or dinner for a family of 3-4 people, and the principles of healthy eating, which are increasingly being promoted by manufacturers of top-end multicookers, require that fresh food be prepared every day. This is probably why the Bork company did not come up with a lid for the bowl - you need to constantly cook something fresh in it, and the remaining food can be transferred to a much more compact plastic container.
Control
The stylish minimalist design is already a sufficient argument for some buyers to decorate their kitchen with it. The body evokes militaristic associations due to the large area of matte metal panels, offset by inserts of matte black plastic. On top there is a removable steam release valve and an unusual handle reminiscent of cut crystal, next to it is a chrome button to open the lid. It is noteworthy that turning the “crystal” handle automatically initiates the opening of the steam release valve, so there is no need to approach it with caution and carefully tilt it with something long - just turn the handle located at a safe distance, and the valve will open on its own.
On the front panel we see a small display surrounded by touch buttons, all with a bright blue backlight - reminiscent of a spaceship. What pleased us most was the multifunctional dial in the center: by turning it, you can change the temperature and time values in both directions, which is very convenient, and pressing it launches the selected program.
Compared to the previous induction model Bork U710, the manufacturer has changed the location of the buttons and made the controls absolutely intuitive. To start cooking, just select a program by turning the knob or selecting one of three preset original recipes, adjust the time and temperature (if necessary) and press “Start”. From this moment on, the remaining time until the end of the program will appear on the display, which will be visible even at a quick glance from afar. Since the display only holds 3 full digits, to determine the time (the multichef has a built-in clock), you will have to get used to paying attention to the small “AM/PM” indicator on the left.
The power cord is 1.35 meters long, which allows you to place the device far from the outlet, and if it is close, you can simply leave it rolled up, like out of the box. It is not removable, as we are accustomed to seeing in other multicookers, but we would not call this a disadvantage: the main thing is not to damage it.
The voice prompt function, unusual for Russian consumers, will help beginners and absent-minded comrades, and experienced users can turn it off. The only pity is that the sound signals that sound with each press and at each stage of operation cannot be removed. They will accompany the process of selecting and setting up a program, its start and end, as well as the start of steam release, which occurs automatically approximately 5 minutes before the end. The pressure release process itself is pleasing because you don’t have to personally press the buttons and risk, albeit slightly, a burn, but its noise level is upsetting. First, in the last 15 minutes, the valve allows excess steam to pass through with a loud but even “puffing”, and 5 minutes before the end of the mode, a local geyser erupts, which without the use of an exhaust hood is fraught with understandable consequences for the furniture.
At the end of cooking, the Smart Warm heating mode is automatically turned on, where the color indication corresponds to three time intervals: green backlight - up to 6 hours of heating, yellow - up to 12 hours, and red - up to 36 hours. The heating temperature can be set by the user in the range from 60 to 77 °C. Unfortunately, the keep warm mode cannot be turned off in advance, so temperature-sensitive foods (like yogurt) will require you to be nearby to manually turn it off. In our opinion, it would be more correct to either include the currently popular “Yoghurt” program in the multicooker’s memory, or allow the prohibition of switching to heating mode, or increase the range of available temperatures to a lower level of at least 40 °C.
The features of the U800 multi-chef also include an energy saving mode (turns on after 1 minute of inactivity of the device and turns off by any pressing of a button or opening the lid) and 20 degrees of protection declared by the manufacturer on the website, including a child lock. We did not find any locks or interlocks either on the dashboard or in the instructions, so the device is not insured against accidental activation. However, if you remove the bowl from it, it will actually prevent the program from starting, and if interrupted during the cooking process, it will sound a beep and cancel itself. An unlocked lid will also not allow you to run any program except for “Frying”, since in other cases everything must be cooked with the lid closed.
Increased safety also has its inconveniences: if you need to add ingredients gradually, then each time you will have to cancel the current program, release the steam, and only then open the lid. In addition, the “Cancel” button worked extremely unstable during the execution of our programs: sometimes it did not respond to pressing, sometimes it immediately started the process of releasing steam, but did not obey a single logic. The instructions here also could not help, since it is minimal in terms of settings and functions, but it contains recipes for each of the automatic programs and original recipes for Italian cuisine by chef Carlo Grecu.
So, the multichef has 7 control buttons and 15 cooking programs. Both are understandable and do not need detailed explanations, so we will be brief:
Button | Function |
Timer | Sets the time for delayed start (maximum 13 hours) in 10 minute intervals |
Self-cleaning | Starts the self-cleaning process of the steam release valve (you need to pour water into the bowl and close the lid) |
Heating/Warming | Starts the corresponding mode: one press to warm up, double press to warm up (the latter will take 15 minutes) |
Author's recipes | Allows you to select one of three programs corresponding to the recipes of Carlo Grecu |
Settings | After selecting a program, allows you to adjust the time and temperature, if available |
Cancel | Cancels entered settings and running programs |
Start | Pressing starts the cooking process, turning the knob allows you to select a program and set the time and temperature |

*Cooking time is calculated by the device based on the amount of ingredients and moisture content.
As can be seen from the second table, almost all modes involve cooking under pressure and allow you to delay the start. It is not surprising that original recipes have a fixed program operating time, but for buckwheat and cottage cheese this is somewhat strange, because the amount of ingredients may be different, and so you will have to fix it. Time and temperature are set in increments of 1 minute and 1 degree, which will allow you to prepare a culinary masterpiece even according to a complex recipe. We would consider the ban on delaying the start for the Multicook program as a disadvantage of the control system, because it is designed to adapt as much as possible to the needs of the cook and is often used to save time.
In addition to control buttons and programs, the multichef panel contains indicators of important elements of the work process: lid locking, energy saving modes, self-cleaning and heating.
Instructions and recipe book
The instructions, also known as the advertising brochure for the model, also known as the Bork product catalog, or the warranty card, are not replete with details. For example, there are no hints on the logic of the “Cancel” button, the secret of the two measuring cups is not revealed, but recipes are given that we expected to see in a special book. Its advantages include high-quality design and a joyfully red, leather-like cover.
The recipe book, included in the basic package, will delight you with the most popular dishes, as well as Italian delights of Carlo Grecu. We tried four recipes from it, including the chef's dessert, and they all turned out to be tasty and ideal for this model, with the exception of pilaf (we'll talk about it below).
An additional book with 200 recipes, also verified for the U800 model, is purchased separately for less than 1000 rubles and can please you with both its beautiful design and the high level of the recipes themselves. There we found quite original dishes that can successfully diversify the usual menu of borscht, pickles, cutlets, casseroles and the like. For example, there are samples of Caucasian, Italian and European cuisine. The only drawback of this hefty volume is that the paper is very thin and cannot be touched even with slightly damp fingers.
Exploitation
Preparation for use
It is recommended to rinse the bowl before starting use, but no boiling of water with lemon is required, since we did not notice any technical odors in the device just out of the box. The manufacturer does not mention non-volatile memory anywhere, but voltage drops in the average apartment do not occur often.
Multicooker care
The inscription “Push” on the button under the lid invites you to press it, and for good reason: the flap covering the inside of the lid will fold back and allow you to wipe what is under it, and the flap itself can simply be removed and washed. There are no recommendations regarding the dishwasher, but according to our feelings, it is possible (there is only steel and hard plastic, which is clearly exposed to much higher temperatures during the cooking process).
The manufacturer does not recommend washing the bowl in the dishwasher, but we would not rush to accuse it of depriving consumers of legitimate comfort, since its non-stick coating can be washed instantly and without any effort. Again, if you follow the "cook and eat fresh" concept, then the bowl should be clean and ready to use at all times.
Traditionally, the steam release valve can be removed and cleaned, as can the O-ring disc, and it is recommended to wipe the body of the device with a rag.
The condensate container should be emptied regularly and washed with a mild detergent if dirty. Its design gave us justified complaints: it can only be pulled out with force applied at the desired point, and there is also a high risk of some of the liquid spilling.
Testing
Disclaimer for photographs of prepared dishes:
The qualities that we consider absolutely necessary for our experts are the ability to cook, impartiality, thoroughness of approach and balance in judgment. The presence of professional photographic equipment and related skills is encouraged, but not required. Dixi.
As test recipes, we chose four from the basic book and two from the additional book:
- Pilaf
- Cottage cheese
- Oatmeal
- Chocolate pie
- Cottage cheese casserole
- Lamb soup with pearl barley
Pilaf (“Frying”, “Pilaf”)
Let’s face it, we were very interested in the quality of pilaf preparation in this model, since its characteristics inspired hope for a result close to the original in a cauldron. Pilaf in multicookers often causes disappointment, although it remains one of the most popular dishes - apparently, users get used to the features of their appliances and adjust their parameters to their tastes. We tested the Bork recipe two times: first we used ordinary Krasnodar rice, which tends to boil too much, and chalked up the failure to it, and the second time we acquired a more suitable devzir variety for our purposes. Both times we fried lamb with onions and carrots, washed and soaked the rice strictly in accordance with the recipe, and then turned on the “Pilaf” program, which automatically calculated the cooking time of 50 minutes. Unfortunately, the result the second time was rapidly approaching “porridge with meat,” as connoisseurs of Asian cuisine contemptuously call too wet pilaf.
In the first photo you can see Krasnodar rice that is indecently stuck together, and in the second you can see a nice-looking pilaf, but it still tasted “wrong.”
Despite the excess water in the recipe, which led to such results, with the right proportions, the U800 multichef is quite capable of delighting you with delicious pilaf, so the overall rating is “good.”
Tvorog ("Tvorog")
As a short excursion to the Internet showed, cooking cottage cheese in a slow cooker has rapidly gained popularity in recent years, especially in families with small children, for whom this technique is a real salvation. We experienced slight mistrust during the testing process, since everything seemed too simple: buy 3.2% fat kefir, pour it into the bowl and turn on the automatic “Cottage Cheese” mode. “Where is the catch?” we thought, but we never found it. After draining the whey (we used ordinary gauze for filtering), a very tiny amount of cottage cheese remained, but its taste pleasantly surprised us. True, the Bork configuration clearly lacks a grid for folding cottage cheese (like, for example, the Vitek VT-4209), but otherwise everything is “excellent”.
Oatmeal ("Kasha")
We liked the standard, but still relevant recipe - when we opened the lid, nothing tried to escape from under it, and the finished tender porridge quietly waited in the wings at the bottom of the bowl. Considering that breakfast is usually prepared while half asleep, the reliable automatic Porridge mode deserves top marks.
Chocolate cake (“Oven”)
In addition to a sweet tooth and a desire to appreciate the level of the aforementioned chef Carlo Grecu, we had a keen interest in the “Oven” mode, which, if operated correctly, can significantly save space and the kitchen budget by eliminating the unit of the same name. In the case of the chocolate pie, the recipe was very simple, and the result was simply delicious. We mixed eggs with sugar, added melted butter and dark chocolate, mixed it all with a spoon of cocoa powder - and then 20 minutes in the “Oven” mode, and you can enjoy. Despite the lack of whipping, the cake turned out airy and tender, like a soufflé, and at the same time juicy, like a brownie fresh from the bakery. In general, in the case of sweet baked goods, we can definitely recommend this mode.
Cottage cheese casserole with peaches (“Oven”)
We use this rather simple, at first glance, dish as a litmus test in cooking: not all multicookers are capable of preparing it adequately. The recipe proposed by Bork turned out to be simple: we beat the eggs with sugar, added cottage cheese and a little semolina, and peeled and finely chopped the apples that we replaced the peaches with. We greased the bowl with butter and lightly sprinkled it with semolina, and the bottom of the casserole turned out slightly brown. The result was very edible, although we expected a shorter cooking time due to the pressure setting.
Lamb soup with pearl barley (“Broth”, “Stew”)
In addition to the fact that we wanted to include the first course in testing, we had the opportunity to test two modes at once. Just 20 minutes on “Broth” and 30 minutes on “Stew” - and a delicious, although too dietary for our taste, soup is at your service. We couldn’t resist and still made changes to the recipe: we added fried onions and garlic to the broth with meat, in addition to carrots and herbs, and spared no spices at the end. In this version, the soup turned out to be tasty and satisfying, but at the same time it felt light. We found the proportions of water and pearl barley to be very successful, and the recipe as a whole was simple and reliable.
conclusions
Bork U800 impresses with three characteristics: stylish design, versatility and high-quality performance. In one beautiful and fairly compact device, the buyer gets an oven for baking, a pressure cooker for pressure cooking, a saucepan for frying and boiling, and a slow cooker for simmering. It can also automatically prepare cottage cheese and can replace a yogurt maker in the kitchen after some experimentation with different modes. Of course, let's not forget about voice prompts, the high degree of safety and fast operation of the induction element, as well as the advantages of a thick non-stick bowl.
The main question is: does all this justify the stated price for this model? Of course, there are many buyers who focus on appearance and brand recognition, but we wouldn’t pay twice as much. For example, the same thing can be done in the Steba DD 2 Eco (a review of this model will be published soon) - by the way, with two bowls and ceramic cups included, except perhaps without induction. By the way, both devices lack physical confirmation of the claimed temperature sensor with a sensitivity of 1 degree Celsius: it would be more likely to be believed in it if it were possible to see the current temperature while the multicooker is operating.
Of course, the Bork U800 model has already found and will still find its happy buyers, but with greater consistency between price and functionality, the demand for Bork multicookers would move from niche to reasonably well-founded mass demand.
