Troubleshooting Guide
Description of the malfunction | Causes | Solution |
Indicators do not light up and there is no heating | This main, most common malfunction is that the device is not connected to the network. | Check the connection of the multicooker, the serviceability of the socket, and finally, if you have electricity in your house? |
Steam comes out during cooking | The lid is not closed properly | Open and close the lid again |
Micro pressure valve assembled or inserted incorrectly | Stop the cooking process (unplug the device) and only then check the steam valve.
The sealing gasket of the lid or steam valve is damaged | Take the multicooker to a service center. In general, we advise you to handle devices more carefully.
Rice (cereals) remained undercooked after the multicooker switched to heating mode | Too little water for the given amount of cereal | Read (watch) the instructions carefully. EXPRESS mode is automatic, but the result is guaranteed only if you strictly follow the recommended proportion of cereal and water. |
E1–E4 | System error (possible failure of the electronic board or temperature sensors) | Stop the device and restart the program. If the error persists, contact the service center. |
E5 | Automatic overheating protection has tripped | Do not turn on the appliance with an empty bowl! Disconnect the appliance from the power supply, let it cool for 10-15 minutes, then add water (broth) to the bowl and continue cooking. If the problem persists, contact an authorized service center |
A multicooker is a complex electrical appliance. If problems that cannot be corrected occur, contact an authorized service center.
Temperature in the multicooker under different modes and features of each program
Each manufacturer supplies the device with instructions that allow you to understand the basic parameters of use. The lowest temperatures are used when creating yoghurts and heating dishes, the highest temperatures are used when frying and deep-frying. 35–40 degrees ensures normal preparation of yogurt and preparation of yeast dough. At temperatures of 50-80 degrees, excellent drinks such as punch, tea, and mulled wine are obtained.
80-100 degrees is the most common range for most dishes. Porridges, soups, jams and other dishes that require simmering are perfectly cooked at these temperatures.
Temperatures over 100 degrees are used when cooking meat, baking, and roasting vegetables. If the device has a pressure cooker function, then various soups can be cooked at high temperatures.
The highest temperature – 170 degrees – is used for cooking meat in batter and french fries.
When is express mode necessary?
Due to the increasing number of daily tasks necessary to stay in the flow of life and not fall to the sidelines of futility, we often need to save every minute. Waking up in the morning, you want to freshen up as quickly as possible, prepare yourself breakfast and plunge headlong into everyday work. To speed up getting such a necessary meal as breakfast, the express mode will help us perfectly. In this mode, the multicooker will prepare you a wonderful omelette in a matter of minutes, which will take almost no time of yours.
