SR-TMH18 - Panasonic multicooker: instructions for use, recipes. Bowl for multicooker Panasonic SR-TMH18

Today I would like to write another ode to my multicooker , which prepares milk porridge for my breakfast every morning on a delayed start (timer) and I add all the ingredients along with milk in the evening! A simple and healthy breakfast is always ready in the morning, all I have to do is press a button to boil the kettle. My youngest son has been very fond of milk porridge from the multicooker since he was 8 months old, for him I prepare it thinner and puree it with a blender. You don’t even need to strain the rice porridge after this, the rice turns out so soft and boiled in a slow cooker, just like from a Russian oven! I think this article about milk porridge on a timer in a slow cooker will find its readers, both among young mothers and among people who are used to spending their precious time profitably.

Today we will look at this simple recipe for milk porridge with a delayed start in a slow cooker using the example of milk porridge made from 5-grain flakes. I really like 5-grain thin flakes from Uvelka (don’t take this as an advertisement, I just know that they will ask this very question later in the comments to the article), which need to be cooked for 5 minutes during normal cooking.

Five grain flakes consist of a mixture of flakes: oat, wheat, barley, rye and millet; porridge from them combines the beneficial properties of five grain crops. During fasting, milk can be replaced with water.

Recipe for milk porridge from multigrain cereal flakes for a multicooker for 2 servings:

  • Milk (or a mixture of milk and water, as you like) – 500 ml,
  • multigrain flakes (multi-grain) – ¼ multi cup for thin milk porridge or ½ multi cup for thick porridge,
  • sugar – 2 tablespoons,
  • salt to taste,
  • butter -20 g.

For 1 liter of milk, double the proportions for milk porridge. When preparing milk porridge from cereal in a slow cooker, a film always forms at the bottom of the bowl, don’t let this scare you, it does not affect the taste in any way.

Although a multicooker is a smart miracle saucepan with a smart valve, when cooking milk porridge there is always a rule: so that the porridge does not run away, we make an oil rim with a piece of butter on the top of the multicooker bowl. During the year of using the Panasonic multicooker, this has never happened to me, but it’s better to prevent this process so that you don’t have to clean up the kitchen afterwards from escaping porridge.
