  • Remove the casing;
  • Attach a pressure gauge;
  • Loosen the locking screw;
  • Attach a pressure gauge to check the pressure in the injectors to the nozzle.

  • Remove the seal from the screw;
  • Turn on the device;
  • Hot water taps are turned on;

Why doesn't the gas water heater turn off?

If a gas water heater turns on spontaneously, the cause is often a leak in the hot water pipeline. After fixing it, the problem will disappear. However, this situation occurs extremely rarely; much more often, the user is faced with the fact that the column continues to work even after the tap is closed. This is due to the diaphragm located inside the water regulator or “frog” becoming hardened and losing its elasticity. After turning off the hot water supply, the membrane does not rush to return to its place and continues to press on the rod, which opens the fuel supply. The problem is eliminated if you replace the faulty membrane.

Is it possible to turn on cold water while the gas water heater is running?

Experts categorically do not recommend turning on cold water while the gas water heater is running. There are a number of reasons for this:

  1. The operating instructions prohibit turning on cold and hot water at the same time. You should set the heating temperature, which will allow you to obtain comfortable water without adding cold water.
  2. The main reason is the rapid build-up of scale in the heat exchanger.

The “winter-summer” mode will allow you to quickly change the heating temperature. This function makes using the instantaneous water heater easier.

Do I need to turn off the device at night?

First of all, this issue is relevant for users who have old-style speakers or those with piezo ignition. They have a constantly burning wick, this process increases gas consumption and poses a certain danger. Therefore, it is better to turn off such models at night. This will not only reduce the risk of an emergency, but also save money.

It is not necessary to turn off a device with automatic ignition. The instruction manual doesn't say anything about this. The automatic dispenser has several levels of protection against emergency situations. Therefore, there is no need to worry about any danger.

Any instantaneous water heater has the following sensors to ensure safety:

  • traction sensor – checks the presence of traction;
  • ionization sensor – monitors the presence of flame;
  • thermostat – prevents the temperature from exceeding 90°C.

If one of the sensors is triggered, the device will turn off. The presented sensors provide the necessary minimum safety for the device.

Setting details

These devices have only one geyser temperature regulator. Thanks to it, the heating temperature and power are adjusted. The self-diagnosis system evaluates the operation of the components when turned on. If there are problems, the red light comes on and the device is blocked from starting. Then it is necessary to adjust the water pressure.

Then you need:

  • Remove batteries from the compartment;
  • Turn off the microswitch;
  • Provide a source of electricity;
  • Turn on the hot tap and turn on the microswitch;
  • The pressure on the burner should be maximum;
  • After saving the settings, the orange lamp will turn on.

In other columns, the water temperature is adjusted by turning the toggle switch and controlling the strength of the water flow.

Poor pressure

Let's look at what affects the water pressure in a gas water heater:

  4. Scale. It usually occurs in metal containers in which water is brought to a boil. In a gas water heater, the heat exchanger is considered a tank. With hard water, scale forms on its walls, which subsequently moves into the tubes, due to which the pressure decreases.
  5. Preventive actions. Any device, including a geyser, needs regular maintenance, namely the prevention of blockages. In most cases, a decrease in water pressure occurs due to careless use of the device.

How to ignite the device

Before starting work, you must open the gas and water taps.

There are three ways to light a gas water heater.

Manually

The manual method was used in older models

  • The ignition filter will remain lit when the regulator is returned to the main position and the water is turned off.

Automatically

The ability to automatically turn on is provided by fully improved modifications that are easy and safe to use even for beginners. Hydropower system

How to solve a problem

If the filter is clogged, you should remove this part from the device. Clean it with a stiff brush and water. If, during cleaning, a violation of the integrity of the filter is noticed, it is worth replacing the part with a similar one.

If the hot water pipe is clogged, you should run cold water in the opposite direction. The plug is removed, a container is placed under the device under water and both taps are turned out. The spout is closed with your finger. It is considered possible that cold water will push the clog forward.

It is not recommended to use chemicals that remove scale from the column. Their composition can easily destroy the metal surface. The best option is to use citric acid, which is dissolved in hot water.

If the blockage has advanced further than the pipes, it can easily penetrate into the faucet. The most “vulnerable” places where blockages mainly appear are considered to be a thin rubber hose, a filter and a faucet. The problem can be solved by disassembling the mixer and performing a thorough inspection. Dirt is removed using running water.

Installation and connection

The choice of this type of device must be taken extremely seriously, since placing such a device in a home in the kitchen of which there is no chimney duct (this should not be confused with a ventilation duct) is prohibited according to the standards.
The best way out of this situation is to purchase a product with a closed combustion chamber. A similar device like a chimney uses a coaxial pipe that will be led through the wall directly to the street. The specialist designing the circuit should warn about such a solution to the problem. The installation location of the product is usually determined by an existing and approved project, so those who want to have a high-quality water heater in their kitchen should be clearly familiar with the rules for locating the unit in a residential building. Such products can only be placed in the kitchen or in any other non-residential space, with the exception of the bathroom, since according to updated standards, the presence of this type of device is not allowed in it. To connect the outlet needed to remove the remaining burnt fuel from the device and to enter the chimney, which is located in the wall, you can choose a steel pipe with a wall thickness of 1 mm. Its diameter is from 1.2 cm. The use of a pipe made of aluminum sheet or corrugated type is not recommended. The section of such a pipe when exiting the product should have parameters of approximately 30–50 cm.

The device is installed at such a height that children cannot reach it, but adults should be able to easily reach all available controls. The distance from the wall closest to the device is at least 0.15 m. There should also be no obstacles in front of the product itself at a distance of 0.6 m. The pipe, which is intended for the removal of fuel combustion products, should only go to the chimney, if it is a separate building, or to a special chimney channel, which is usually built into the walls. Connecting the product to ventilation is strictly prohibited, since combustion products can enter the neighbors’ home, which is not very good.

A good solution is to mount the purchased device on the wall according to an existing special design and connect only the water supply hose to the unit’s branch pipe. Only an experienced specialist should connect the product to a gas hose and carry out other work with flammable fuel.

The procedure for installing the device is not original. Where the device is mounted on the wall, you need to make markings for future fasteners. The entire height of the fastenings is calculated so that the chimney pipe that exits the device vertically has parameters of at least 30 cm. The pipe to the chimney is installed at a predetermined angle. Its parameters can be calculated using the installation diagram.

After determining the hanging height of the device, you need to take the following steps:

  • measure how many centimeters are between the fasteners on the product, transfer these parameters to the wall using a level and ruler;
  • make small holes in the wall for dowels or hooks;
  • after installing the hooks, you need to hang the device on them;
  • Next, water hoses are installed, they are screwed to the water heater inlet pipe and to the drain pipe;
  • to check the tightness of the connection, you need to open the taps with cold and hot water;
  • the chimney pipe is secured to the placed unit using a diagram; the use of corrugation is permitted;
  • to connect the gas pipe, you will have to invite a professional who will do it as correctly as possible and give you documents on the registration of the device; at this stage, the connection of the water heating device can be considered complete, the boiler can be started for operation.

What malfunctions do the Neva Lux dispenser have?

The display of the Neva Lux geyser indicates an error code when problems occur.

Common fault codes that also occur at the Neva Transit gas water heater:

E7. After seven attempts to turn on the device, it goes out or does not work at all. The problem lies in the failure of the electric valves, the accumulation of soot on the electrode, the mixing of the ionization sensor, or the gas block boiling. The solution is to replace faulty parts or clean the soot with a brush.

L0. Insufficient fuel supply.

Causes:

  • Poor water pressure;
  • Decrease in temperature;
  • Exceeding the pressure of the gas water heater Neva Lux.

The problem can be solved by adjusting the temperature, installing a reduction gear and descaling the radiator.

E0. The device turned off on its own. Fuel does not move into the device. The solution is to check the gas valve of the Neva Lux gas water heater. In most cases, the gas supply stopped for some time.

E8. Malfunction related to the traction sensor. It is usually associated with a clogged chimney or a broken sensor. The solution is to clean the chimney from soot yourself or with the help of utility services, or replace the sensor with a new one, as well as check the tightness of its contacts.

Bosch speaker system

Structurally, Bosch GCs consist of a housing, a hole for installation, a window for monitoring the combustion process, a pressure regulator, a gas fitting, a chimney pipe, a draft sensor, a combustion chamber, piezo ignition and a tap water connection unit.

The body is made by stamping from high-strength sheet steel and is protected from temperatures and aggressive environments by a layer of enamel, which protects the unit not only from chemical and thermal damage, but also from all kinds of impacts. The boiler control knobs are located on the body.

The control system includes two regulators - for pressure and temperature of heated water. The water pressure is regulated mechanically - by turning the knob; clockwise - the flow rate increases, and counterclockwise - it decreases. The torch burning level is set using a slider control. The unit is connected to water and gas supply systems using a threaded connection.

The boiler chimney is made in the form of a pipe with a length of 10 to 15 cm and is used to discharge exhaust flue gases into the atmosphere.

Note! The dispenser operates on the principle of natural circulation, the draft in it is formed due to the height of the chimney and is controlled by a draft sensor, which sends a signal to automatically turn off the dispenser if the parameter drops to “0”.

The gas control system includes a burner, ignition device, combustion chamber, shut-off and control valves and a safety valve. The heating circuit consists of a pipe coil and pipes at the inlet/outlet of tap water. The automation system protects the Bosch gas instantaneous water heater from an emergency and is designed to preserve the equipment and ensure safe living conditions.

Other device problems

In addition to error codes, there are other malfunctions that are also typical for the Neva Transit gas water heater:

  1. The appliance is too noisy. In this case, you should start turning the water regulator and reduce the pressure.
